About Me

I was a quartermaster aboard the Miller from '82 - '86. Had quite a time on that tin can. Active duty '79 - '96. Been here in San Diego since '89. It's just too nice to leave. Went back to school after discharge and earned a dgree in graphic design (see www.RisingDesign.com). Happily "single" since '95, but in committed a relationship for near ten years with Kari.  We have four dogs. Hiking,  gardening, cooking, sculpting, writing, design for fun & profit.

Kind of wish I was, I'd be able to hike more. wife wanted to move to Kentucky when I retired.

Seeing names and times past really spark thoughts of way back then.

I'm way behind getting caught up with you guys - I just found this website, hope you still check it - anyway

I have been out of the Nav since 89' - Now living in NJ with Wife, and 2 daughters - have a great life
I and my father-in-law and brother-in-law still talk about our great trip up to Champlain that year

Wow! Whew! Lotta' cobwebs T.J. Vaguely remeber, I'm suure if we sat down and retold some stories and/or pix the memories would come, I do remember Billy McGrath and Frankie Ruane, of course. We were the "All-Jersey" quartermaster gang. I have Billy Mac's contact info if ur interested.
