Part of commisioning crew- left ship 3/75 married 34 yrs, 6 kids, 1 merchant son currently on M/V Capt. Steven L. Bennet T-AK4296 4 grandkids, Lab Tech @ 24yrs, 3 years from pension, enjoyfreshwater fishing, avoiding computer but this site is softening me up- it is great - Hats off to huck et. al.

Roanoke is only a couple of hours away. Never too far with enough notice. I was working close to "Pedro's Truck Stop" in SC a couple of weeks ago (...remember those rediculous signs?....Chillie today, hot tomaly). Couldn't help but laugh all over again. My email address is stevergregory@gmail.com

Mark- Happy 4th to you! I will be southbound on 81 on August 14th or 15th- are you around that weekend. Got a niece gettin married in Syracuse on 13th. Will call when plans are final.

Z you old saltdog, I ask at the reunion if they heard from you. Still in Kent, as you little more weight still crazy.Wife too. At least thats what they told me at the reunion. Wish you could have been there. It was great to see alot of older people and meet the women that took a nose dive and married us.
