About Me

Alive and well in Charleston, SC, and still married to "Mrs. MacGuyver" (Missy) after 18 wonderful years. Decommed the MILLER in 1991, and went on to the Jesse L. Brown - no other ship ever came close to the Miller for me.

 

After the Knox-Class, I went on to become a Navy groundpounder, working mobile tactical comms for CINCLANTFLT. From there, on to civilian life supporting SPAWAR in Charleston, where I still am today. Director of Business Development for L-3 Communications, SouthEast region.

 

I'm currently working up a digitized version of the final cruise video of the MILLER, taken during 90-91. The majority of the footage is from our final cruise. Part 1 is finished, and I hope to have it uploaded to YouTube shortly. Parts 2 and 3 to follow.

 

The digital version is recovered from the original VHS tape, now over 20 years old - there's a few rough spots, but I hope everyone enjoys it - it sure brings back memories for me!
